Our Journey from Struggle to Service

The Mohibi family once lived in the remote northern villages of Afghanistan, where poverty, war, and lack of infrastructure made survival a daily challenge. We walked miles for water, crossed rivers to reach school, and lived without healthcare or electricity.
For decades, we struggled through war and hardship, experiencing firsthand the devastating effects of conflict, isolation, and economic instability. We saw mothers give birth without doctors, children forced out of school due to war, and entire villages abandoned by progress.
But today, we are in a position of influence and access.
Now based in Washington, D.C., the world’s capital of power and resources, we recognize that we have the means to make a difference.
We are no longer the ones struggling to survive—we are the ones who can help others survive.
